THE PATH
BY JUDITH JOHNSON KYPTA

WALKING ALONG ON THE PATH
THAT I TAKE TO REACH MY HOME
I FELT SUCH A PEACEFULNESS
...I KNEW I WASN'T ALONE

I FELT THE LORD'S PRESENCE
IN EVERYTHING I SAW......
THE GRASS,THE STONES,THE FLOWERS
AND THE CEDARS STANDING TALL

AS I CONTINUED MY WALK....
I FELT ENCIRCLED IN GOD'S LOVE
THE SMELL OF THE EARTH....
THE DEW ON A LEAF, AND THE LOFTY
CLOUDS HANGING ABOVE

I SPOKE TO JESUS...AS I STROLLED
ABOUT THINGS THAT CAME TO MY MIND
ABOUT MY TROUBLES AND BLESSINGS TOO
A BETTER "LISTENER" I COULDN'T FIND

......IT WAS GREAT TO KNOW
HE HAD HEARD EVERY WORD
AND I KNOW HE REALLY DOES CARE

NEVER LEAVING NOR FORSAKING...
ON LIFE'S' "PATH" YOU'LL ALWAYS
FIND HIM THERE!
